My post last December about the four/five fortune cookies and their doom-filled wisdom inspired the wonderful alienorh to give me a fortune cookie as part of my Twelfth Night gift.
This is what the cookie had to say to me on that auspicious day:

I mentioned a few weeks ago that I had a pile of fortune cookie fortunes, and that I'd post them. Here they are. Enjoy!

There was a fifth fortune cookie; I took it to work with me, and the fortune is laying here on my desk.
Chronologically, it should be third in the previous set of fortunes.

If you've got it, flaunt it.

(There are also about twenty fortunes I've gathered while cleaning my desk and dressing table; I'll post those later, for posterity.)

Last weekend, queenfrizzle and guthmunder had takeout Chinese, and the restaurant sent four fortune cookies. I, liking said crunchy things, have eaten three of them so far. The fact that they seem to all be pointing in the same direction is disturbing and exciting.
